Fantastic Farr

Pond Dipping

FARR! :-)

What a fantastic action packed day we had in Farr. The children were all in great form and seemed to really enjoy themselves. Highlights being marshmallows on the camp fire, some park action and pond dipping. I imagine you will have lots of very tired and hungry children tonight.

Thank you so much to the parents that gave up their time to join us today. We really appreciated your help! 🙂

Crazy Golf and Floral Hall

We had a fantastic day out today.  I think we all loved Crazy Golf and Floral Hall was wonderful too.  Check out the photos.

Can I say a huge thank you to all the parents who came along to help.  We couldn’t have do it without you.

The Tim “Peck” Challenge

Last week the children were looking forward to seeing Tim Peake return to Earth.  We sey all of P2 the challenge of building their own landing craft for Tim Peck our egg astronaut.  There were some fabulous results and some scrambled astronauts!  Well done to both classes for showing such great teamwork.

Outdoor Learning

Now that we are seeing a bit more of the sun, we are spending more time outside.  This week the children were given the social target of improving their team work.  I particularly liked the tyre towers and picnic tables transformed into space craft.

Crime at Inshes Primary!

Oh no!  There a crime has been committed at Inshes Primary.  The House Cup has been stolen by some villains.

The baddie’s hideout was discovered in the outdoor classroom and we have spent the day sorting through the evidence and alerting the authorities and even Spiderman.

Luckily we have some fantastic writers in P2B and we managed to create a police report, notes to Spiderman and even stories imagining how Spiderman will track the culprits down.

Check out the photos.

Police Report

Thursday 17th March 2016, Inshes Primary School, Villain’s Hideout in the outdoor classroom.

Describe the Scene:

  • Playground
  • Outdoor classroom
  • Plastic police tape across windows and doors

Describe the Evidence:

  • Sand – footprints
  • Green handprints
  • White cloth – ripped
  • 2 coffee cups, 1 scratched (1 baddie has claws?) – 2 baddies
  • Stolen jewellery
  • Stolen money from The Bank of Inshes
  • Gold bars
  • Note – Meet me at Inshes Park at 12.00
  • Note – Meet me at the hideout at Loch Ness at 3.00
  • Note – The treasure is hidden in Locker A at the Aquadome.
  • Note – The Plan – Go to Inshes Primary School, steal the House Cup, sell it to Mr Big
  • Note – Sandy Rules OK!
  • Spiderman was on a darts board

What conclusions can be drawn?

  • It looked like the baddies left in a hurry
  • We suspect that The Lizard, Dr Connors was involved. He has green hands and a ripped white coat
  • We suspect Sandman was involved. He left sandy footprints.

Action Required:

  • Look for traps in the playground
  • Look for more clues
  • Contact Spiderman to ask for help
  • The House Cup is missing, can we track it down?
